Los nominados a los Premios de la Academia, que se llevarán a cabo el domingo 27 de marzo, fueron anunciados el martes por la mañana por Leslie Jordan y Tracee Ellis Ross durante la transmisión en vivo de la Academia. Las 23 categorías, desde mejor película hasta mejor director, fueron nominadas para las categorías de actuación y artesanía, incluyendo mejor sonido, mejor diseño de producción, mejor maquillaje y peinado, y mejores efectos visuales.
La película del oeste de Netflix The Power of the Dog recibió 12 nominaciones al Oscar, mientras que Dune recibió 10 nominaciones, West Side Story y Belfast recibieron siete nominaciones.
